Melissa has been in the education field for over 15 years and joined WHPS in 2015. She holds a BA in Liberal Studies from CSUN with a concentration in Earth Science & Astronomy. Melissa serves as a resource specialist for Lower Elementary with a special emphasis on early literacy development and leveraging science of reading (SOR) research to elevate student learning. Melissa is a proud WHPS parent.
