This session guides parents in supporting their children’s learning and development. We’ll explore various evaluations, such as psycho-educational and neuropsychological testing, to understand how these assessments reveal academic, behavioral, and developmental strengths and needs.
Topics will include:
Benefits, timing, and signs that indicate when to consider an evaluation.
Key differences between private evaluations, insurance-covered testing, and free or low-cost options through the Regional Center or school system (for families in private schools).
How to access support and resources once a need has been identified.
Whether you’re actively considering an evaluation or simply want to understand the available options, this workshop offers valuable insights to help families make informed choices. The Q&A session will be a great opportunity to ask questions and gain further clarity on this topic.
