Nicolle Alarcon-Barrera holds a BA in Child Development from California State University, Sacramento. She has been working in education through teaching assistantships, tutoring, and volunteering since 2016 and joined WHPS in 2022. Ms. Nicolle has extensive experience creating lesson plans, assessing educational needs, and supporting the academic and social-emotional growth of students from preschool through elementary grades.

As your teacher, I will make sure to provide a safe, fun, and nurturing learning environment. I will help you build skills that will benefit you throughout your life. In this classroom, mistakes are learning opportunities, so just keep swimming. Most of all, I will make sure that you feel loved, accepted, and supported during your time as a student.
